I was adopted from China and raised in the United States. In 2026, I went back for the first time and saw it through adult eyes. What stayed with me was the silk: strong, beautiful, made by people who still honor the craft, and priced for the people who actually wear it. Back home, most "silk" I found was polyester or a blend so diluted the fibre was barely there. So I brought that part of my heritage back with me. The soie is the fibre and the culture it comes from, Chinese silk sourced directly from our makers. The forme is the life I grew up in: clean, modern, Western design. Two halves of one story, held in a single piece. We tell you exactly what you're buying: momme weight, grade, origin, treatment. If we can't trace it, we won't sell it.
